Dare to Live
It's here! My lifelong dream of writing a book has actually happened in December 2021 when Dare to Live was published. In it, I share my struggles starting at age 70 after the loss of my son, but how I found new life through a dance group called "The Hot Flashes." It wasn’t a fluke. I did it again! My second story was published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Age Is Just a Number edition in November 2020. My story, “Mom on Match” tells the story of how I met my husband online even though I had no clue how to use the computer or how to logon to the Internet. And what does The Newlywed Game have to do with it? You may be surprised!
Chicken Soup for the Soul: Grandparents
My first official published work appeared in bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul: Grandparents edition in March 2019. My story, “Me and My Shadow” shares the story of how I taught my young granddaughter, Carolyn, to dance after learning to tap dance when I was 70. Today, at age 92, I’m still dancing and have earned the title, “Dancing Grammie.”
